[update] I can walk!

Okay, so I could walk yesterday too, but still... The pain seems to be gone. The physician's assistant fished around in my foot and took some small thing out and sent me for x-rays to make sure that there wasn't something else in there. The x-rays confirmed that I have a heel spur on my right foot at least, but there doesn't seem to be anything else in there. Which I am glad about. The "procedure" and the x-rays will probably cost me the $250 extra that the subsidy allots me for such things. At least, I hope that money will cover it.

Oh, and heel spur? The illustration I saw online didn't compare to what it actually looked like on the x-ray. It was much larger and far pointier.

Also, getting a needle stick in the heel of my foot has been the most painful stick I've ever had. Far far worse than when I've had needles go through veins (instead of into). I was amazed and wasn't prepared for it when it happened, so I had actually flinched, probably making it worse.

Last, it is snowing out. Not only did it snow last night, but it is continuing to snow in a pretty constant stream of white stuff that is pretty impressive. I think it is trying to stay around just by shear amount. I am oddly unaffected by the snow. I detest it being out there, but today has been a relatively high energy day for me. I think because I can walk without the stabbing pain of before.

Now to get rid of the heel spur related pain.
