Power Surge on USB Port.

The comedy of that, is that while I can navigate about a Windows box just fine sans mouse... one cannot actually click the message, as far as I can tell.
Looks like the USB hub(s) on this machine have continued to deliver power, but no data transfer. Another mouse 'lights up' when plugged in, but it doesnt control the pointer. My ipod takes a charge just fine.
I've placed a ticket into Help Desk here at work. We shall see how this goes.
