wow..
..Well for those of you that missed out on the 'Fallen Skies' gig last night, boy did you miss a treat... I'll be posting pictures as soon as I get back home from work - assuming that I dont just fall asleep straight away, I'm aching all over and really tired. I didnt get to sleep till about 3 am because of the gig and then having to remove make up and liquid latex.
This is definately equal to the awsomenes of the Frog and Onion gig back in march - if not better. We were the headlining support act, the new song went down really well, people were singing along to our songs(!!?) CD's and customized plush zombies were bought, and get this... at the end of the set we were getting chanted at "We want more!".. we wanted to play more, but due to time restrictions couldnt, Gray put the focus on the headline act coming soon - the one that everyone would apparently be coming to see- at which point everyone started booing the main act!?! I thought I had slipped into a parallel universe or something...
There was a minor amount of mess ups, some slight problems with amps and bass pedals.. but it all went really well despite this..
We've got more gigs being lined up for the coming weeks / months, and if they turn out like last nights then they'll be well worht checking out..
As for the tribute band they were excellent, and sounded spot on. The singer had several outfit changes throughout the set, some quite elaborate. Over all a very excellent, but very tiring night.
