Utah, PNW and Legacies
Countdown to Moving Day: In approximately 17 days, we will be moving to the Cache Valley area in Northern, Utah. I’m so excited it’s ridiculous. We are currently working toward securing a place to live, since homelessness would kind of suck. We have a few options right now, two of which we’re seriously considering, one of which we’re making major moves toward securing (the other will be a back-up if the preferred choice falls through). Both places are actually outside of Logan proper, a few minutes North, in bedroom communities. Our preferred choice is in Hyde Park, a very small city North of Logan, and our second choice is literally just South of Hyde Park (sandwiched between Hyde Park and Logan), and is the city of North Logan (a pretty self-explanatory name). Hopefully, we will be able to get everything finalized soon.
I was hoping to get the paperwork today for Josh and me to go over, but apparently there was an error somewhere, so it had to be sent back for revision. It was a little disappointing, but I’m hoping people will be able to get off of their asses and get it all sent over to us tomorrow/today, but since it’s the weekend, who knows if anyone will be in to deal with it. *sigh* Oh well, hopefully it’s done by Monday, at the latest. I’ll provide more details if/when everything gets finalized, as I have no desire to get all excited about something, just to have it fall through.
PNW Trip: Next week we return to the PNW for Josh’s friend’s wedding reception, and a brief stop-off at Legacies. I’m excited to see Josh’s friend’s family, but I’m not really looking forward to meeting the bride’s side though. I don’t know, there’s just a vibe about it that makes me feel like Josh and I won’t really fit in with her world and that we will probably want to escape quickly.
Legacies: I’m really super excited about Legacies though. I’m pretty stoked about my new character, and am ridiculously excited that (assuming all goes well), Ms. McDermott will be able to make it. As if it wasn’t exciting enough for her to be making a return to event, but her character is also going to be somewhat associated with Michael’s and my character’s, and I’m pretty psyched about all of that. I have pretty much all of my garb for my character all together already (save for one thing, that hasn’t arrived yet), which is just making me itch to play my character all the more. I hear the site we’ll be at sort of sucks though, but that shouldn’t stop me from having fun.
Anyway, that’s the major stuff going on (mostly just focusing on the move, but with some other distractions peppered in there). I hope everyone is doing well! Miss you much!
