(no subject)
Two updates in two days? Ridiculous.
Last night I slept over Jen's, after getting a total of about 6 hours of sleep, that was great. Lots of great things happened, like me whacking my head off the headboard, calling FOB, taking over Jen's computer and the best quote of Katie's life: "Once the mysterious item is reveal, I will turn ovah!" Katie died first, and we tried to wake her up with M&Ms, grapes, and lemon juice. Tried to play uno that somehow ended up being `Monopoly` and freefalling...Jen broke Katie's glasses, oops. But overall it was fun even if I whined half the time and got no sleep and I'm still wicked tired even though I came home and slept for like 3 hours.
I have to find out how I'm getting to Warped Tour by Tuesday so I can email Haley...I've got so many CD reviews to do, and another good 30 + photos to scan, but I'm being lazy and too tired to do much of that. I really should have just waited and got a digital, but who knows how long that would have taken, and I need a film SLR for photography class anyway. Oh well, eventually I should be able to get a digital. I haven't been to a show since FOB in June I think...I don't remember going to any show after that unless I'm completely blanking. I think at the end of the month we're going to go see Saving Alcatraz, but I don't know yet, hmm.
I still have to read the Poisonwood Bible, and do the journals for both books which will mean me rereading Things Fall Apart, and I have to do that history paper. I need to do the English papers too but those aren't due until September 1st I think, I don't know where my packet went, oops. Good thing I did Calculus with Jen and Nat otherwise it never would have gotten done.
I'm so glad there's being a ton of new shows scheduled for September/October...Skatefest, SOTY, Mest should be coming, Straylight Run, and hopefully Fall Out Boy around Christmas time considering they have a show in Irving Plaza on 12/26, and one in PA I think on 12/27. And GC will be touring in October/November, so that'll be good...it'll have been a year since I saw them if I don't get to go the 20th, and it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.
Enough rambling from me, I've got zine stuff to do, and I have to keep hoping that my passes will be there, otherwise I'm screwed. I sent Shazila the form, then emailed her a few days later because my email was acting up, just to make sure she got the form, and she said I was set with 2 tix 1 photo 1 press but I always get nervous about these things. Oh well, I'll have the confirmation email and hopefully they'll call the night before the show like they did the past two years.
