Empty fields move me so much more than rooms filled up with friends- Bayside
Last night, I went to the best concert of my life. I know all the people I went with won't feel the same, becuase they don't have the same feelings towards the bands. I saw Silverstein and Bayside live in a time span of about an hour and a half. Both of them are my favorite bands and mean the world to me. Baysisde has offically changed my life, and Silverstein is probably the best live band I've ever seen.
Bayside's drummer died recently, and only two of the remaining three band members came back to do the tour. They played an acoustic set and boy was it the bext acoustic set EVER. Bayside is just a wonderful group of musicians, like literally, they are good musicians. And Anthony Ranieri is an amazing singer and lyricst. John dying was amazingly tragic, but Bayside kept on playing. They played my favorite song, and it made me life. Me and RA were like freaking out.
Silverstein is amazing. I love them more than anything (Besides Bayside of course [they're equal]). They just have amazing songs, amazing lyrics, amazing musicians. Gaspeth are they great. I sang all the words, and they did their best songs. They did, Defend You, My Heart Bleeds No More, Discovering the Waterfront, some song I know but forgot the words too, Smashed to Pieces (The song that got me into Silverstein) and a bunch of others that I can't quite remember.
Aiden is a wonderful band, and they have the best drummer ever. The funny thing is they all look the same except their weight differs. They're a pretty cute band. The lead singer does that thing where he throws the mic around and around. Tamara told me that since I'm the lead singer of her band, I have to learn how to do that.
Hawthorne Heights was really REALLY good. At Warped they sucked SOOO bad. They were good, and the pit was INSANE during their set. I was in the pit for their set only. It was really good, I like them alot, and I'm listening to them now actually. I'm listening to every band that played last night.
In essence, Bayside changed my life, Silverstein is the best band to see live, Aiden is cute for a bunch of fat people, and Hawthorne Heights doesn't suck that bad. I love all of them.
