[Reno's yet to actually rest aside from what he did while in quarantine, and he's patched himself up as best he can. He'd really rather some hot food that..well, okay, so it might still be funky tasting but it's HOT FOOD. He's in the buffet while he makes this announcement.]

[Reno sighed.] I figure we're fucked one way or the other, there's no gettin' off this tub until it either sinks or we get to that shore place. Heron-lady said it was a safe place, a sanctuary. Of course... you and I both know even the safest of havens is only as strong as the people protectin' it.

[Veld nods. Reno's senses are rarely wrong. Marco was rather unforeseen.]

We need to consolidate, Reno. I want to pull in as soon as possible. I'm loathe to trust anyone outside of the ShinRa forces that I know. Would you mind staying in Vincent's room or pulling a mattress into mine?

[If shit goes down, Veld is convinced that himself, Reno, Vincent, and Sephiroth could hold their own. He'd rather trust the devils he knows at this point/]

Veld, I don't think either you or Vincent would appreciate me moving everything I have in my room in to either of yours. Where's Sephiroth going to sleep, he's right down the hall from me. The two of us can work as a team from there, you an' Vincent from here.

Besides, it'd be a little obvious all four of us moving in to two rooms unless we're gonna tell people we're bumpin' uglies.

I hate not knowing what to expect. I plan on doing some research in the library, but the commotion was a useless distraction because it appears that all of the doors seal up whenever something happens.

Everyone's talking and no one is saying anything useful. I'm going to meet up with a man named Auron once I'm convinced Valentine is alright.

Is there anything else you think of as being important?

I'm gonna take a bit of time, go through everything anyone's ever said here and try to get a better picture of what people know and don't know and what people are missin' from each other.

We'll meet up in a week, see if there's anything worthwhile that has come up. I'm discussing a plan of response to any further invasions, for what little good it will do.
