I had a dream while I took my nap.
Now you get to hear about it.
When I nap, far more often than whenI sleep, the following happens.
My brain wakes up first.
Everyone's experienced this. Sometimes sleep paralysis is accompanied by the feeling/nightmare of someone in the room with you.
Basically, you can't move, so you're fucked.
Today's dream had an extra dose of weird.
I was woken up by the time on the stove.
So, my dream went to BRAAAARRRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZZTTTT!
I got up, and tried to turn it off.
And failed.
I rember standing in front of the stove and being very upset that mom had somehow put a new one in, one that I didn't know how to make shut up. There were, too many buttons and somehow the control panel with the clock was blinking and it was set to 'tenderize' and I didn't really know why it had picture of food on it but it looked a little like a replicator.
And it wouldn't stop buzzing.
There's a feeling when you only think you're walking around.
So I tried to pry my eyelids open.
This probably works only in dreams, but I was suddnely looking at my hand, and horizontal on the couch.
And unable to move. Trying to make a fist and beign unable too is particualrly frustrating.
So is trying to tell yourself to stand up. Trying to yell and hearing yourself made a weird, pathetic little grunt.
Kicking worked. Eventually. Focusing on straightening my legs out until I got control back and shot upright.
