Here's another one from a bit back
After responding to an ad, someone wrote me back: "pirates or ninjas?"
So, I wrote: Aw man, that's a tough one! Let's see, I'm partial towards pirates
because I went to school in Pittsburgh, home of of the Pittsburgh
Pirates. Then again, I grew up in the 90's when ninjas were all the
rage between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 3 Ninjas and all that junk.
I also pirate music and movies, so that might give the pirates
another point. Then again, a point goes to Ninjas for their fast
cat-like reflexes and code of honor. Pirates wear cool stripes and
usually have some sort of sweet peircing-- they are kind of like the
punks of the 17th century. Still, pirates are kind of mean (eg
Captain Hook) so I think in the end, I'm going to have to go with
Ninjas. Hope this helps! Nate
