I went to "last Thursdays" last night on Alberta Arts. It's kinda like "First Fridays" or a crawl except bigger and the road is blocked off, full of vendors and street performers, etc. In the course of my apartment hunt, I was beginning to get worried that everyone out here are weird out-dated hippies, but there were a lot of people out last night, many of whom seemed to be reasonable folk.
