Switching sides

I'm anxious about the house because:

- Renting this place is so comfortable
- There's no deck for Quinn
- The windows are small and high up
- Lack of storage space!
- Sharing is ok, but I'd rather all the space was mine.
- Paying the mortgage on my own will be uncomfortable

I'm stoked about the house because:

- Hello, awesome kitchen!
- I can paint, build shelves, add on, or change anything I like.
- It's really conducive to having extra live-ers
- Location is awesome.
- It's MINE
- Paying into an investment is better than just giving my money to a landlord. (Enforced savings?)

Telling myself to enjoy the adrenaline and euphoria and excitement helps. Talking to friends and others about investing, location, property, etc. and they all seem really confident and stoked for me, which helps. Mental chats about the necessity of change and stepping out of my comfort zone, also reassuring. Taking it one step at a time.... Except for the daydreaming part, I'm hardcore into that! (Hours spent combing Pinterest for paint and project inspiration, as well as searching for couches and duvet covers - time well spent, right?)

home sweet home, change is magical
