Rock and a hard place
While Vang Vieng is beautiful and has lots to offer, being sick has totally put a damper on being here. The boys left for Thailand yesterday so Jade and I have decided to just cut our losses and head to Vietnam. It's a 24 hour bus ride to get to Hanoi, wish us luck.
This morning I got messages from both Mike and Nick. Both told me I had to make a decision and commit pronto, or they had to say goodbye permanently. I can't though, I can't.
I think maybe I should choose Nick, that it might be easier with him, but I just can't let Mike go. I sent him a big message with a bunch of concerns and questions, and telling him I needed to not talk for a bit to try and think some things through. His response was "Have a wonderful life. Maybe see you in the next one."
I'm freaking out.
