hey you its not ridiculous to want to belong, but i think, and ive talked to nearly everyone i know about this, the problem is that everything is so different after high school. society's all like now youre an individual, and as freeing as that may be, its also overrated and lonely. everyone has their own schedules and jobs and new friends and old friends and friends from jobs and nothing seems to be a guarantee. in high school we all had the same time to start class, the same lunch the same everything. it was conveinent and easy and dependable. when i think about my years at dreyfoos i get really upset because although it was an enormous lie and we were pushed only to make the school look better, completely uninformed about how to afford the colleges we got into and basically only valued for certain reasons, i had no idea how good i had it. (sorry about that little rant, but i had to get it out and im really drawn to your honesty.) anyway, i hope that wherever you end up, you will find your niche, but maybe niches only exist in our minds. i'd like to hope still that they do exist. it takes a long time to break into a place though, im still not there, but im on the right track i think, and i think you are too. i wish you the best of luck.
