holidays

Well... the holidays are almost over (for me, Christmas isn't over until Epiphany). This past week, I've spent a lot of time at the Tucker house- hanging out, eating, drinking, watching movies. Stacie has gone back to Florida again, but I will try to plan a visit down there in the spring.

I've also spent a lot of time with my family. I actually spent New Year's at my grandparent's house. With the fall approaching faster than I thought, I plan on taking every possible opportunity to spend time with my friends and family. Things certainly do happen for a reason. If I had been in Illinois this year, I would have missed a lot of that precious time. I also would be marrying a man that didn't love me the way I deserve.

I don't believe in New Year's resolutions, because change takes time.

These are my "goals" for 2005:

1. Spend some amount of time with God every day.
2. Apply to at least 3 schools.
3. Attend at least 3 new churches.
4. Respond to emails within 1 week.
5. Exercise at least 3 times a week.

I like Tina's "year in review." I plan on working on writing one of those too.

Before I go I want to share an awesome quote that was in my church bulletin on Sunday:

"I don't know what the future holds,
But I know who holds the future."

God bless, everyone! :)
