(no subject)
I didn't think today was going to turn out the way it did. I was a little down earlier in the day. Classes and stuff were pretty boring, but I finally got through them. Thanks to the girls in the hall we went to dinner together and I talked to one of the Dutch boys about baseball and he told me about soccer. He called me "so American" because I told him I'd go play "american football or baseball." Yup, born and raised. Then there was some talk around the dorms and just silly drama which can be interesting, as long as I'm not directly involved. Mike G. called. Went to his place to watch the Brewers game. With about an inning and a half left in the game Mike and I left to go see "40 Year Old Virgin." I thought it was funny. It was a nice way to spend the evening. Then Scott left me a voice mail telling me the Brewers won. This means that the Crew can't finish under .500 this season!! A WINNING SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you belive it?!
Mike and I called 'Duka on the way back from the movie and told her of our excitement about the Brewers and Mike let 'Duka know he's back on the market. After a really good break up. If breakups can be good. Then I talked briefly to Scott and Dad. Wished Scott good luck tomorrow (or tired) and talked to Dad about the Brewers. Then I called Brandon just to kinda be anoying and to say hi. He doesn't like baseball, but I let him know about the Brewers anyways. And he made my night by saying that he doesn't care about baseball, but since I'm happy he's happy that I'm happy. If that made sense. Kinda difficult to tell in the 3rd person. But you'll get it. That's all for now. It was one of the best Fridays in Platteville. Well, the Brewers definately added to it.
