Arg!!!
Despite how much I really like Platteville, it's definatley missing one huge component of my life. I miss bowling so much!! I tried asking Brandon and Mike if they'd like to go tonight, but it doesn't seem like anyone's too interested along with any of the other girls I know. It's a little frustrating because of how much bowling is a part of my life and to not have that part right now, it's almost like losing a good friend. Yup, sounds really corny. Even once I'm finished with school, I hope to be able to use my degree in the bowling industry.
I guess tomorrow I call the center and get the names and numbers of the people that run the other leagues, then start calling them to see if they have any teams that need an extra bowler every now and then. It also sucks because not knowing anyone who wants to go bowl, it's a little scary to be going down to a bowling center that I've never been to by myself at night. I'm sure there won't be any problems, but I'd still rather have someone with me. And right now I'm going to be looking into men's and women's leagues. I want something more competitive, but it seems like they don't have that here, so I'll take what I can get. But I'm also sure that older men are not going to want this 20 yr. old chick to come in and kick their ass. It's a really crapy situation from a bowling prospective right now.
At least I have the Brewers tonight, they start at 9.
