Nursing and My Sanity

This semester has been a rough rollercoaster of great news and bad news.
On the good side of things:

I am the top of my clinical group in my Med-Surg clinical, and received the highest evaluation in my OB clinical group for my OB/Peds clinical (though my OB clinical is a whole different story), I am one of 8 people in my Medical-Surgical class of 32 that is actually passing, the exercise I've been doing to relieve stress has really paid off, I don't even need to study for Peds to do decently in the class, and I may be getting a job as a medic or ranger at Philmont.

On the negative side of things:

I don't really have the grades I need to continue on to advanced practice at a prestigious school at this time, my Grandma's condition is rapidly deteriorating, I've had to give up pretty much everything fun to survive this semester, I can't relax or chill out enough to have fun during downtime, I feel very socially isolated from the rest of my class, and I'm kind of sick of being in Indiana.

I'm pretty emotionally exhausted, but at least this semester hasn't been boring lol.
