Since I'm going to always be thought of as "inconsistent" by certain persons I might as well actually allow myself to go ahead and be that way anyway...at least, when there's some salient reason.
In other words...I guess I won't hose this journal after all.
Too much trouble. Not enough truly good places to have another one.

I will probably be less active for a while, and if I'm smart I'll take the advisory received by friends in high places and keep my interactions with same a teensy bit less out-in-yer-face. Not because I've any shame about them. I have different motives in remembering to do things that way that have nothing apologetic or any "hidingness" reasons behind them.
I finally got my webcam working except it won't show up anywhere unless I can find a webcam prog that uploads in SCP not FTP, and so far I still can't find one...
