I know I am really going on about this these days, but as the days lean closer and closer I do want to make sure everyone's 'in' who wants to be, for, to quote the Lizard King: 'the ceremony is about to begin'...PS: Sorry, People Who Love LJ-Cut. You didn't end up in my spam bin, you were shunted into a folder on my server that I only use when something is fuxored and I can't use regular mail, which has been happening a lot, lately, in fact, my server is down NOW, which really pisses me off, since it's kind of IMPORTANT that it be working for the next three days.

I occasionally will think in more paranoid moments that one or another enemy, whether aethyric or more mundane, is doing a number on me. Best way to deal with that is to act as though whatever they're doing doesn't matter, even if it does. It usually stops, then. And usually I find that it doesn't matter as much as I'd thought.

But I'd still like my server to be open right now, because if it's not, I can't get my email. And now I'll have to redirect everyone to my damn yahoo @ddress again and I don't want to have to do that. Not only is it corporate and in league with SBC which is that awful company that borged AT&T and facilitated the NSA wiretaps, but their mail system is retarded. it takes years to use. and it's the only thing I have ever known that can crash Firefox. Does any of this shit ever happen to you with it?

It's only crashed on me once. I don't like using it for the reasons you mention above, but I needed a relatively stable web-based email while I was bouncing hither-and-yon around Europe. Now that things are looking a bit more settled (says she, in the sure and certain knowledge of a glorious dissolution as soon as Someone reads that...) I'll have to look at getting proper email.
