I know I am really going on about this these days, but as the days lean closer and closer I do want to make sure everyone's 'in' who wants to be, for, to quote the Lizard King: 'the ceremony is about to begin'...PS: Sorry, People Who Love LJ-Cut. I do not use it for long text pieces. Only graphics, things with spoilers in them, and quizzes in ( Read more... )

We ALL get to sex via the matrices of conjoined delicate arabesques of invisible currents.

so, yeah. :-7

I suddenly have a lightbulb-memory of seeing some speak of "The New Irreality", and now having FINALLY (for the time being) finished playing amanuesis to CHORONZON all day long, dealing with receiving RSVPs and sending out acknowledgements, and gathering materia for the multimedia bit (which has been something like hosting a "potluck" and a "potlatch" combined) I think I can go whizz over and have a looksee.

God I am exhausted. I thought maybe I'd have at the most maybe 8 or 9 people who'd "bite" when I posted this. The latest count is something like 64. At least five of them, not including myself, are dedicated Choronzonites. THIS IS SO BIZARRE. WHERE DID these people come from and how did I never know them until now, and they're all "Oh wow, I thought I was the only one into this". This is almost spooky. I dun' wanna lead no cult, I just want to erase some memetic yuk that keeps making people not bother to think 20 years ahead about their lives or the Earth's, assuming some huge dramatic spectacle is going to happen since it was supposed to in Y2K and didn't, and because we're all besotted with infotainment and movies in which Some Huge Dramatic Spectacle always happens. It weirded me out how no one seemed RELIEVED that everything didn't fall apart on Y2K, it was more like they were disappointed.

So that's what this is about.
And riding currents. Ever try it?

Our little "separated-togetherness" party turned huge before I even knew what was happening - not that I am in the least complaining, I'm just not used to this. I wonder what Emily Post would have to say about invitations for psionic orgies.

Heh. Yes.

I'm always surprised at what attracts the most unlikely people..
