Oh dear Gods...

A fucking d&b band called "Nubian Mindz" (obligatory eyeroll for misspelling plural with 'z') has an album called New World Chaos.

I was kind of expecting SOMEONE to but I was holding onto the blind hope maybe we'd be the first.

It's pretty suckarama, though I've heard worse; its invisibility makes it by default have more quality than corpschlock that dares to call itself "alternative" or "indie" or anything other than "pop" or "disco".

No, I take that back. I'm listening to it now and on second thought, no, this is bad. The song titles fooled me. Why do "drum -n- bass" bands always crank the bass so loud it distorts and sounds misrecorded and background it with that goddamned awful synthesised trombone sound? I will never set my foot in a club again unless it is strictly a rivethead night, and not even likely then; I'd rather be doing noise than hanging around discussing it and drinking at bars.

I'm not about to change the album title especially since it doesn't even seem to have an album cover design (I looked hard for one, but couldn't come up with one.)

Now, what I do want to know is the usual happy horsecaca about "Am I going to be breaking international copyright law by naming the fused-Choronzonic epic the same thing as this db act chose to call their schlock?

They also piss me off because their streaming has that kind of buffering that makes stuff impossible to play unless you have a corporate net pipe; even were I not sworn to deprive corporations of all fundage possible I just can't afford forty a month for Comcast, a $200+ deposit and no refunds if you can't pay your bill for a month, they disconnect you, that deposit is toast! I think that is such bullpookie. What's a "deposit" supposed to be for, if not to make up for such exigiencies?
