So the Jenn and I went out to a hockey game last night. Not just any hockey game, no no! We attended the U of M Golden Gophers vs the MSU Mavericks, in Mankato.
I can’t even tell you the number of looks and comments that we garnered Jenn in her MSU jersey and matching hat and me sporting the Maroon and Gold, walking done the streets of Mankato arm in arm.
It was, in fact, a very close game until the #1 Gophers opened the lead to 3 and then 4 goals in the 3rd period.
It was an awesome time and watching games at the Mankato area is awesome, it’s a real intimate facility. As well we had dinner and a couple post game cocktails at Pub 500, which I’ll get a review up for as soon as I’m able.
