I hate the 4th of July!
There are obnoxious kids in my yard setting off firecrackers! I've ran them out of the yard a number of times but if I don't stay at the door/window they seem to wander back in the yard. What happened to the times when parents watched their kids while they played with firecrackers? There isn't an adult anywhere near these kids other than myself.
There is a really good reason not to have kids. If you can't take care of them and prevent them from intruding into my space and my life then you don't deserve to have kids. I will not be considerate of someone who's not considerate of me! And if someone else tells me that kids will be kids I will fucking scream! I was taught manners by my family. Never go into someone's yard with out their permission and parental consent! It was a number one rule for playing outside.
If I ever buy a house or apt I will have to make sure that it's a childfree community. Am I a child hater? NO! I just think that if I have to be nice to your children, you should teach them to behave like civilized people. If children are supposed to have rights then they should act like it!
