Computer shopping
I'm in the market for a laptop. It has been decided that my old desktop will go to my younger brother and I will get a laptop since I'm going to be traveling. My problem is that I want a good computer but I would like to spend less than $800 but i'm will to pay $1000 if I have to. I think that I will need a wireless card, cd burner, and enough memory not to crash every few minutes and I need some super virus protection. My real problem is that I use computers but I don't know enough about the technical stuff to be an educated shopper. Everytime I try to research it I end up boggled down in the technical lingo that I want to curl up in a protective fetal position. So I'm asking my peoples for any layperson's aid that they can give.
