So, baking is chemistry. I like chemistry - it's repeatable and controllable. I do science; I get science; I like science.

But food is love. Love is not made in a lab. It's messy, and imperfect, and different every time. Though do love, and I like love, I pretty sure I do not get love.

I think this is why I like cooking better than baking - it's a problem that I still can't logic my way through. Someday...
