can i just say that the last wedding i attended, as a confirmed stoner obviously, involved a plane ride, a week's accom and quite a bit of cash. I smoked 2 oz while i was there, as did most everybody else, including the bride. Some even maintained their meth habit. Somehow, somehow, we all made it to the ceremony!
Stoned, high, whatever, those fuckers are just rude! You don't not show at someone's wedding! Personally i think that is the 'asshole' side of the personality rather than the 'stoner' side. Sounds like she needs to do a friends cull.
i know you said no offence, and none taken, but i just had to put my 2 cents in, on behalf of all stoners who do actually live respectful lives!
Well part of it is that Jess and Brett themselves are constantly smoking pot, and they can't seem to get anything done. It could be unrelated, or exacerbated, though.
Also I maintain that the people in Colorado are almost all a bunch of weirdos, so I think that's part of the equation.
I wouldn't go so far as to say entirely, but yeah, I do think that has a massive impact on it. I mean, I'd love to live in a state as beautiful as Colorado, but there's seriously something wrong with those people.
Brett and I got into a fight about drugs, actually, cause I called coke a "hard" drug, and he got all offended. I'm a total square, and he's pro-everything, so I ended up leaving the room before it got too heated. =x
it sounds like it could be similar to the Blue Mountains here, which are about 1 1/2 out of sydney. Lets just say that inbreeding seems to have come into play up those parts!
Haha, it's possible! Our theory is that because it's, you know, the Wild West, all the people who live there are descendants of gun fighters, cowboys, and people who wanted to get away from other people, and therefore nobody has any social skills.
