feeling beat up
It's 3:30 on Memorial day weekend, and I'm drained. Sunday we tell the kids. First half of the weekend will the tension leading up to that, and the rest of the weekend will be dealing with the fallout.
K was upset last night. I don't know exactly why, but obviously there are lots of reasons why she could be upset. I asked her if she wanted me to sleep elsewhere; she said "yes," so I went down to sleep on the couch in the sunroom. I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 or so, and woke up at 5:30 when the white cat jumped on me. I tried to get back to sleep, but that didn't work.
The new bed came this morning. The phone is working and has been since Tuesday, but my DSL is pushed back to June 1. I guess it doesn't matter because I won't move in before then.
