sometimes, things you do for people...never come back. i've learnt this the hard way.
and experiencing it again (even if a bit more "grown-up" about the subject...) well... doesn't mean it gets easier with time. au contraire, my dearies. it stings worse.
especially when it's people you truly and dearly love.
