I have finished my first week of work. I feel really really great. And I learnt, while on facebook during the quiet periods, that my internet friend Mick is in Australia right now as I type this. He flew over from the USA. We're still not in the same country but its close enough. He sent me his Aussie number and I've been texting him, it doesn't cost me a thing.
It also rained quite profusely on the way home and it was terrible until I reached the top of the hill and then the rain was exhilarating and refreshing. I could smell the sea! :) Probably sick again though. Oh well. Now I'm drinking the wine in the pantry because alcohol.
