Too old for trick-or-treating?

I recently read an article about how a few cities have recently passed laws saying no one over the age of twelve can trick-or-treat. Personally, I think that is nonsense. If you have a costume on, you can trick-or-treat. That's why every year we have two bowls of candy by the door: the Good Candy Bowl and the Crap Candy Bowl.

If you show up on my doorstep Halloween night wearing a costume (not just a mask, but an actually costume) you get to grab a big handful out of the Good Candy Bowl of Snickers, Kit-Kats, Skittles, Nerds, Hersheys, and other awesome candy. But if you're NOT in costume, you're in a t-shirt, jeans, slapped some half-assed face paint on, and are holding a plastic shoppin bag, you get the Crap Candy Bowl full of candy corn and micellanous offbrand hard candy doctor's offices and banks always have. That way I'm not afraid you'll bust my windows in with bricks for not giving your punk ass some candy.

Anyway, in case I don't post again before the big day, Happy Halloween and a Blessed Samhain to you guys.
