What is the Alternative Prom?
The Alternative Prom is a prom that provides a safe place open to and accepting of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered couples, as well as straight allies. It's not just the "gay prom," --there will be a diverse group of people there. Come have a blast!
Directions:
•From Greensboro/Kernersville, take I-40 West towards Winston-Salem; From the other side of Winston, go towards Hanes mall onto Silas Creek....
•Take the Silas Creek Parkway exit and go all the way down that street, past Forsyth Tech
•On Silas Creek Parkway, take the ramp exit onto Bolton Street.
•If coming from the direction of Hanes Mall, take a left at the top of the ramp, if coming from the other direction past the Career Center/Forsyth Tech, take a right.
•The Church is on the bridge between the two ramp entrances over Silas Creek Pkwy. Careful not to miss it, it’s right there!
