A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the jim-dandy jacaranda_daze, who shares my b.d.!
Many thanks to all my LJ friends who sent me lovely birthday wishes. I was in Alaska on the actual day, then flying home to NYC the next, so didn't see your posts til late. It was a wonderful birthday, and very unusual, because I directed a show that opened on the 18th, Verdi's MACBETH for Anchorage Opera. Soon after midnight I was serenaded with "Happy Birthday" by the cast at our after-party, and that's truly a wonderful thing when sung by a room full of opera singers! :D
It's good to be back home, though. I missed my kitty Vinny, who's been lonesome without his companion Sylvie, who passed in January. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get him a new little friend. Looking forward to that! :))
