Dear F-List,

I've fallen in love with Joss Whedon.

I'm a huge Buffy fan, but I guess I was way too young back then to really appreciate the genius that he is. But you know what? I'm lying. I fell in love with him when I watched Serenity for the first time, after months and years, really, of refusing watching Firefly. I fell in love with his passion but the characters he creates; I fell in love with the amazing directing work; I fell in love with his story telling. I still can't comprehend why Firefly was taken off the air. It's a precious treasure, that show.

I watched Dollhouse on Saturday, and, yes, I fell in love with it. I loved Eliza playing Echo; I loved how she went from a real human being with strong emotions surfacing from every pore of her being to an expressionless doll. It was priceless. And Joss... Oh, Joss... You are an ingenious man. You are truly talented and I admire your creativity.
