Ok, I'm a dork...
I also realized a few days ago why I knit. Knitting is like life in that it's very easy to make mistakes, and if you don't correct these mistakes the final product is useless. However, unlike life, with knitting it is much easier to pull out all the work and start over. Knitting is just as frustrating as life, but the problems are much easier to fix and therefore, I feel like I have more control over the world.
