New Computer! Darkspore Beta! *EXPLODE*
Dave just got me a new laptop as an "early birthday present." I totally accept this since I'd rather him do the computer research. I'd been holding off getting a new one for a while since Sai's harddisk died, waiting until there's some new game that I want to play. Well, Dragon Age 2 is coming out March 8th, and so... yeah. This laptop's actually designed for gaming too. It's super huge, not very portable, but I don't mind since I only want it portable enough that I can migrate about the house. And... it has vents on the back rather than underneath. Yay for backwards vents! And backlit keys because it needs to look bada$$ for the gamer dudes. So yay for upgraded from duo to quad, triple the ram, and a new graphics card. *HUG*
One of the games I've been sort of looking forward to this year is Darkspore which is like Spore mixed with Diablo. So my interest is piqued, but there's no knowing whether this thing is going to be good or not. So my grand master plan was to sign up for their beta so I could find out. And guess what? I GOT A BETA INVITE!! So my new computer will have a new (mostly finished) thing to play! <3
