Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! I swear that I have wanted to update so many times this week but my life has gotten so crazy since I got a job (yes, me!) that everything is all jumbled up. My Physics work has caught up with me and i am behind in all my assignments and studying. Also, it's just that the more days you skip updating the longer you can go without ( Read more... )

do you want an LJ? Because I can try to find a code for you, LJ is much more fun when you can join all sorts of closed-membership communities =) Wow, things in FL are so different than in PA! I am already in pharmacy school. It's a 6 year program, with the usual 2 undergrad years then 4 professional years. The only difference is that with my school I don't have to apply seperately for the pharmacy program. Once I declared my major (which was basically on my application since I knew I was going into pharmacy) I was in the pharmacy program.

My college is very famous for its Pharmacy major and is considered one of the best. You probably never heard of it, but it's called University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (recently changed its name last year from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science). So I don't have to apply to pharmacy school and the job is for money and experience because I will have to do an internship (2nd-3rd year)and a clerkship(6th year;half in a hospital and half in retail) so I want to know something before then.

The cost is horribly expensive. Even after my grant from the college I have to pay a little under $10k per semester for my first two years, the last four(professional) years cost $5k more a year. I have no idea how I'm going to pay off my loans.

Good luck with your pharmacy college.
