Finally, I finish The Deathly Hallows. Finally, the story closes, ends in my hands, as a small animal sleeping, stirring now and then to remind me of the joys and anguish I felt while savoring every sentence, every paragraph, even those with grammatical errors. ;-) (Thankfully, those were few and far between.)
Perhaps this was not her most eloquent work, but I like it best, none-the-less. Sometimes, near the end, the feeling slipped over me that Ms. Rowling had intended a different ending, that some of the pieces fit a bit more haphazardly than others. Still, I cannot fault her. The story was good, the ending plausible (based on the premise and world-construct previously introduced) and overall, the book and the series were quite enjoyable. Bravo! Here here!! Kudos, etc.
But...
Tolkien was still better. ;-)
