Brigit's Flame March 2011 Second entry: Balance

Mar 13, 2011 15:54

Four toes and a pad, fanned wide,
her tracks like tear-drops on a mesa,
(at least for the rodents)
a line in the snow so narrow,
a single cable could cover them,

Agile and dexterous, she is subtle,
yet striking, unseen in the twilight,
(yet napping in the sun).
She is without equal
in stealth and sweet guile.

She maintains the balance,
turning play-skills to hunting
(and hunting to play).
Seldom in failing,
she limits her prey.
