*this should be entered last night but i was too tired, lol*
The Children's Day Promotion went tremendously well than we've expected. Tiring but rewarding too. I counted, we made almost 1,000 packs and rake in $1,000+ with profit of almost $400.00 which is great for a first try. We're planning on doing a promotion for kindergarten passing out but just realised that'd be November, which means, we have exactly one month to do everything...not sure if that will work
Anyhoo...went shopping on Wednesday with Suzi and Lily while waiting for my dad. That was a blast! After dividing the profits...i say we deserve that shopping trip! lol
Dad's surgery went well, he was scared the whole time,
i could tell and for the first time, i could really see how tired and old he is. Did i take him for granted? Definitely
Suzi and I visited him today after work. Earlier, the docs said he would be discharged today but he ended up with a fever so they detained him another night. Mom's bringing him home tomorrow morning. I'm scared having him around the house when he's not fully recovered, i think i feel better when he's in the hospital, where he's taken care of. So these next few weeks would be challenging on everyone. I bet he'd be infront of the tv all day, lol.
Watched The Hollow FINALLY! I have to say, unbiasedly, that compared to his first acting gig in American Dreams [which was horrible] and 8 Simple Rules [okay but still quite stiff] Nick in The Hollow was a joy to watch. He was such a JERK! Your typical football jock who looks down on everyone else...I thought he carried it very well, still room for improvements but man, he makes a JERK look GOOD!lol...kevin would be proud
And what the heck, BSB is in Japan for a 5 straight days concert...and they cant come down to singapore for one miserable day??? urgh!
Watched a few clips of the concert in China...their new dance moves are great! Not overly done and yet they dont have the same in synched moves...more like each of them had their own choreographs to memories and yet they blend together perfect, i loike.
