Happy 39th Singapore!
I think im gonna watch our national day parade online so i can hv a lil party in the comfort of my own room. this will be our PM last national day before he steps down so last night's PM speech on TV was a melancholic one. He did good for this country :)
After that, they're gonna air the first episode to Singapore Idol. The AUDITIONS, that's the fun part, you get to see the awful singers,lol...i saw the preview earlier and i know we're in for a lot of laugh. sometimes i wonder if these ppl hv seen American Idol and then look at themselves seriously and really think if they can sing, lol.
Singapore is nowhere as huge as the US, if you're on TV making yourself look stupid, you cannot hide from the public anymore! lol...im looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, i know one of my my high school mates auditioned, curious to know how that turns out :) i saw one guy who was only wrapped in his towel, came for audition. man...everybody wants their 1 min of fame, lol.
