Received my assignment- very excited!

One quick question, is there a general beta board for this community or are we responsible for finding our own betas?

I'd encourage you to find your own beta if you can -- it's a small ficathon, and I suspect that the number of participants who are up for beta reading any given story who are not that story's intended recipient is going to be pretty small.

ETA: I've gotten another request for beta-reader-finding assistance, so I'll put up a post asking for volunteers -- you may be able to find someone there.

Please use a beta if you can! I'll put up a post asking for potential beta readers, but you may need to find your own -- it's a small ficathon, and I'm not sure how many beta volunteers there will be for any given type of story.

I don't actually have an icon for that. (I'm not sure how I'd make an icon for that.) But I am screening my comment above, because I don't want to give away anything about your request -- I wasn't thinking about that!
