brrrr. spains cold!
I think I may end up having to buy a coat here. I was hoping to last until I go home.. but it's chilly! And going out in the evenings covered in layers instead of one warm coat is annoying. I have to put on two jackets and a scarf to keep myself warm. Unfortunately the funds are low right now because I've been charging stuff on the credit card, so the coat will have to wait until the new credit card period in like a week.
Allie visited this past weekend.. and soo much fun! I took her out to experience the normal Spanish night life... and mann she's exhausted! haha it was great tho. After a little mishap with the airlines, she made it into Granada at 5am then we had a fabulous time. Did the botellon, chupiteria, and tapas.. gooood times. Then Saturday we headed out to Malaga to meet her cousin and visit Malaga, which I had never seen, so it was a mini vacation for us both. Malaga is right on the coast so we went and splashed around in the beach for a bit. The city itself is beautiful and so much fun. Unfortunately the tapas aren't free in Malaga so I had to spend a little more than usual, but that's okay. Just a little broke right now.
Thanksgiving is this Thursday. well duh im sure everyone knows that. But AIFS is putting on a Thanksgiving dinner for us.. apparently it costs 50 euro for this dinner [for us it's free] so I hope it's good! This is my first experience of being vegetarian on a holiday. Oh well, the food I've heard is delicious... with some mashed patatas, veggies, ensaladas, pumpkin pie, and more! yum yum.
I head to Barcelona this weekend to see a soccer game... eek! Barcelona vs Recreativo. SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! I'm buying myself a Messi jersey... gotta represent the Argentinean in me. :D Apparently I have family there? Padres, let me know who they are.. and maybe I'll look them up.
So I have 5 weeks left. 4 weekends. Oh dearie.
