While editing my Yuletide fic, I noticed the client I usually use to work on my fandom-related things, Bear, weirdly formats two spaces after a period as one.
This is what two spaces after a period should look like. I think.
This is how Bear formats sentences. I think.
So now I realize that not only my Yuletide fic has funky formatting, most everything I've worked on in Bear is funky-looking, too. I can fix the Yuletide fic, but I also have to go back and fix God knows how many other fics from months and years ago.
As for iOS writing clients, I'm switching to Drafts. If anything, right now I like how it doesn't force me to use curly quotes like Bear. I code quite a bit, and curly quotes are a headache.
