Put on your best dancing boots and straightjacket for a rock & roll ravaging as London lads Anti-Nowhere League return to Australia to headline the highly anticipated Punk-A-Billy 5 Festival. They’re bringing with them their disturbed & deranged, truly bold & beautiful new album, “Road To Rampton” that has (according to English press) ‘overshadowed everything they’ve done before’.
Joining the escapees on the festival is an all Australian line-up sure to get your quiff slick and you mo-hawk upright. Put your fists in the air for Wollongong punks Topnovil, who have just released their brand new E.P “Can’t Bring Me Down” and be certain to get to the merch stand and pick up the new full length album from Brisbane hardcore punks The Pints as they join the festival during their near sold out ‘White Plague’ East Coast Tour. And to snap you into chaos gear is Brisbane Rock’N’Roll demons The Bad Moon Company fresh off their tour with U.K legends The Meteors.
Heading up the Victorian sector of the Punk-A-Billy line-up are the ‘nice guys’ of Australian punk Amphetish who, after their recent East Coast Tour with U.S punks ‘The Wish You Weres’, will re-unite with previous drummer Joe “Good Knevil” Plozza, who the band states to be “One of the most unorthodox and fastest drummers you will ever witness”.
To complete the riotous ensemble that is Punk-A-Billy 5, catch Sin City on the release of their new album, the veterans of the Australian punk scene Bastard Squad, “OI!” punks Marching Orders, ska swingers The Resignators and lets not forget The Rum Smugglers and The Original Generics.
It’s sure to be “One hell of a day to Bragg about!”
