At present a powerful typhoon, number 18, is approaching Japan.
If it follows its present course there will be strong wind and rain in the Kanto area
from early morning tomorrow, Thursday, 8 October, and as the day continues towards
midnight it is expected the typhoon will run the length of the Hokuriku region. We request
all members of the ICU community to please take care and pay close attention to the latest
news about the typhoon.
Resident of dorms and campus housing, we ask that you make fast or move indoors
anything outside your residence that may possibly fly about in the wind.
