The Bravest Hunter - Unofficial Walkthrough Part 8: Hunter Rank 7 to 8
Note that is only one of several ways to beat the game. This walkthrough hopefully will be helpful for new players, people who have problems and especially those who try to play in offline mode.

Lucky Hunter Rank 7: Alicia is an Assassin with 2 AP who has the Twin Golden Sting (Might and good attacks) and decent stats in general. Sakura I tested once (in another game): while I didn't like her attacks very much, she is the only character over level 40 with 3 AP you can get in offline mode.
A note on Loki's Secret Shop and the Golden Helmet: do not buy it, rather be patient and wait until you reach Hunter Rank 10, Joe Bush will offer a Golden Helmet II then.
Formation/Tavern: Recruited Alicia. Current Formation: Viegraff-Front, Alicia-Middle, Carlos-Back.
„Divine Messenger“: As suggested by my friend hnhatthanh, I tried to defeat Gabriel without using any AP Boosters or Phoenix Blessings.
Here is what I did: Viegraff + Carlos got an Iron Skin, Alicia a Chili Pepper (was a waste as it turned out).
I skipped my first turn. As a result, Alicia was dead, but Viegraff and my Avatar remained almost unhurt (what damage Viegraff took, he regenerated afterwards). I had to revive Alicia and give her a new Chili. Left me with 16 AP to attack. That wasn’t enough, but Alicia beat Gabe down to 1/4 to 1/3 or even less of her HP. After Gabe’s turn, Alicia was dead again (not much happened to Viegraff and Carlos). I skipped another turn to accumulate AP. Viegraff and Carlos were still standing. So I revived Alicia once more, gave her a Chili Pepper, then attacked (I had 14 AP). Alicia managed to kill Gabe with the last AP … With an Iron Skin, Viegraff appears to be almost invincible. At the moment, at least. The reason probably is his Adamantine/Adamantite equipment.
Formation/Tavern: Even though Viegraff and Alicia are great, I hired Gabriel and Sakura (for AP only). Gabriel has over 15 K HP, massive STR, owns a Soul Blade (yes, Slay ability) and her CRIT and PARRY rates are just awesome. Some people say she is the best Special Character. To this, I agree and disagree at the same time (more about this later, when the chapter 6 missions are getting harder and harder).
„Sir George's Request“: Another personal favorite of mine. No special rewards, but only 11 areas. I'd wish there were more of these missions with 11 to 17 areas and difficulty level 45+, I would be OK with the difficulty level going up to 80 and more. (And now I have a level 35 avatar.) If you did exactly what I did without spending a single Gold coin, you will earn the „Billionaire“ achievement now. But that, of course, is not possible. So the „Billionaire“ (or rather: Millionaire, I'd wish I could collect one billion Gold) will have to wait a little longer …
„Defeat The Assassin Trio“: This probably is the most rewarding mission in the whole game! Great for farming Titanium Ores, Sun Stones, Moon Stones and Demon Stones all at once. Nowhere else you get such high rewards for so few areas. Your preferred grinding spot and main farm from now on, believe me.
„The Evil One“: I only say so much: the Boss makes me smile every time I play this mission. Take a look for yourself and you will see what I mean. That doesn't mean that he's harmless, you probably don't want to get hit by him. I don't remember exactly if Gabe was able to kill him without AP Boosters or not, but I am pretty sure that I had given her a Chili Pepper. Anyway, this mission is amongst my personal favorites, too, and I will gladly play it again with a later team set-up.
If you have played the same number of missions than I have, you now have earned the „Master Adventurer“ Achievement! Congrats, if you made it until here. (And this time, it is possible, it even came a bit late in my case; there seems to be something wrong with the mission counter. As for the „Sword Of The Dawn“ I just got, I don't really know what to do with it, maybe I'll have it upgraded later, maybe not.)
