Long time...

Ever since school and work let out for the summer, I've been either really busy on the weekends or in clean/read/rest mode on the weekdays. Every step's been a new adventure.

Went to a few conventions so far this con season: Los Angeles Rock'n Comic Con, WyrdCon, GEEKS Con, and Gamex. Rock'n Comic Con was DEAD. I kept hearing exhibitors saying they weren't making any sales and some were heckling people to come over to their booths. Gamex and WyrdCon were gaming conventions, Gamex focusing on tabletop and card games and WyrdCon concentrating on LARP. GEEKS was just a small gathering of comic book creators. Spent most of it talking to Rafael Navarro.

We also spent a little time in the Bay Area. Great trip. Hung out with Patrick a little.

Other than faire, Phil's show, a little cave exploring, Pagan barbecues in Hollywood, endless Chinese tacos, and other things of the like, we've been partying with the Daily Titan vets at least once a week. On Friday, we bid farewell to one of our own as he got ready to head up to the Bay Area to work for a car mag. Best of luck, Mr. Lowney.

Well, off to wander about with Bernie to do god knows what, and then head home to watch Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax in Bulgaria.
