Wizard World L.A. and other things
To hell with the L.A. Marathon, I went to the geek sanctum next door. All of us little freaks embraced our hyper-caffeinated beverage, greasy food, and fandom-immersed lifestyles while the marathon people ran circles around us, literally (well more like just one big one).
A few highlights:
- Sitting in the front row of Kevin's Q&A where he not only showed clips from Clerks 2: The Passion of the Clerks, but divulged his deepest, darkest sex stories. And I'm talking ones even he had forgotten about, and are not mentioned anywhere.
- Hanging out with the Golden Apple people, watching the live art display, and talkin' with Darick Robertson.
- Serving as a lifeline for the people participating in Wizard's Trivia Wheel of Doom.
- Got my black and white Bob in-action figure signed by Stephen Silver, who also did a sketch of Bob on the inside cover of one of his books for me.
- Watched Andy Lee paint for a while. I'm such a dork for getting so giddy over the fact that he remembered me from last year. He's so friggin' cool.

Friday night was the Boggards' CD release party for Whiskey Business with Merry Wives opening for them. Sweet deal.
Both sets were great. Finally got a copy of Here's to the Men, Merry Wives' newest CD.
Went with Christina, and Crystle, Jayarre, Jason, Poofy and his wife Redrum were there as well. Faire shows are always really fuckin' cool, because most people know each other, are off-the-wall and really friendly, and like Rocky folk, they just have the right attitude about everything.
My first St. Patty's Day getting to drink openly in public. :P
