Davy's daddy is coming tonight... he will visit for about a week, I think. I'm looking forward to that.
Another long week of nannying is over... man, it was rough. But I've got 4 or 5 more days till I have to work again, so that's really nice. I love the girls, but they've been horrible lately because they miss their mom so much. (she's been working extra training a new employee)
Hmm... the Cloptons got me a little angel figurine as an appreciation present for all I do for them... it was so sweet that I wanted to cry! I do a lot of housework and stuff that isn't exactly in the job description, and they are so happy about it and Ms. Heidi says it helps her out so much. That's why I do it, though... I know it's awesome if she can come home from work and play with her kids rather than do housework all evening.
Calico is 15 years old. Wow. She's in great condition, and the vet said he'd never know she was that old if I hadn't told him. She is our precious kitty and means so much to us... those of you who used to know her would like her so much more if you could see her now. She's happy and therefore entirely different. I am so thankful for her.
I need to write letters to people.
I want to go swimming again soon. The heat is crazy... even early in the morning or late in the evening it's hard to stay out longer than a few minutes.
I'm going to go now because I'm frustrated at Davy (He's telling me how silly he thinks blogs are. Sigh.)
