It's been a weird day.
I woke up from a dream in which Keane's song "Somewhere Only We Know" was the soundtrack to a movie trailer that promoted a romantic comedy starring Aaron Eckart and Scarlett Johansson. It was a love story told through the perspective of the eyes of a woman 100 years in the future, who is (will be?) working on a remake of the first Harry Potter movie. Scarlett is a Blockbuster employee (a cute, quirky job for a girl to have, the woman from the future thinks) and Aaron is a busy businessman who has NO TIME FOR LOVE. Until he meets Scarlett. Sparks fly. Keane plays. Harry Potter and the Weasely twins rampage through the halls of Hogwarts on their brooms.
WHAT.
Ok so then I get home from work to find that Cookie has AN INTRUDER living on her fur. I plucked it off and quarantined it in a tupperware container. It looks unhappy but my sympathy for it isn't very high and will remain low until I find out just what the hell it is. whats_that_bug, don't fail me now!
